The new spider species was discovered by Dr. Pham Dinh Excellence from the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Description of the three species is published in the prestigious international journal Zootaxa, 3909 (1): 82pp (monograph, January 2015).
Three new species of their spiders pholcidae described based on specimens collected in the cave Statue, hang up Heaven and Seven Layer. Earlier, in 2010 and 2012, Dr. Pham Dinh Sac and colleagues have discovered and announced 1 varieties and 2 new species of scorpion in the cave Phong Nha Ke Bang area.
The newly discovered species have specialized life in the cave environment, endemic to Vietnam.
1. Species pholcus sp.nov bifidus.
Pholcus bifidus species discovered in the cave Statue, National Park Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Quang Binh province. This is a special species in the cave environment, is endemic to Vietnam. This species differs from all other species of the genus pholcus by the presence of nodules on the legs of males pliers, genital spines long and pointed, slightly bent, turned hard chitin; female genitalia jutting out.

2. Species pholcus sp.nov elements caecus.
Pholcus elements caecus species discovered were found in Paradise, National Park Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Quang Binh province. This is a special species in the cave environment, is endemic to Vietnam. Spider species is distinguished from other species of similar body size pholcus by very small; spider without eyes; curved appearance and sharp horns on the top of the carapace.

3. Species Khorata sp.nov protumida.
Khorata protumida species discovered in the cave Seven Floor, National Park Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Quang Binh province. This is a specialized life in the cave environment, is endemic in Vietnam. This species Khammouan Khorata Huber species, other species in 2005 but due to the plate Khorata Khammouan la mel shaped arch arch like structure in males mandible; 4 in the maxillary tuberosity; genitals outside door so hard chitin chemistry, well clear of the shore.
