Mr Sy Som Phon Sut Thi Chac – Manager of Forest resource management Department of Khammouane province, that led the delegation to visit in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in exchanging experiences on forest management and protection on November 17th 2017.
Truong Thanh Khai, Vice Director of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board, and representatives of Science and International cooperation divisions and Forest Protection Unit welcomed the delegation.
The two sides discussed and shared their experiences in forest management and protection in all aspects, such as the organization of forest protection units and ranger stations; forest patrol, inspection and supervision, forest fire prevention and control, law enforcement; Collaboration with relevant functional forces such as building and signing regulations on coordination with local authorities and agencies in forest management and protection and forest fire prevention and fighting; public education, raising awareness about conservation.
On schedule, Delegation of Khammouane Agriculture and Silviculture Department has worked in the field and visited the Park’s Forest Protection Stations and ranger stations of Quang Binh Provincial FPD./.
