April 5, 2016, Rescue Center, Conservation and Development Biology received from FPU FPU ash pits of Phong Nha – Ke Bang incense tree with 01 individuals.
Rescue Center, Conservation Biology and Development said when receiving the tree with incense (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) weighing 1.5 kg, was not injured, the normal situation.
Incense tree with mammalian species, belonging to Civet (Viverridae), distribution of South Asia, Southeast Asia and southern China; quite popular in the area of Phong Nha – Ke Bang. Their habitats are primary forest, secondary, food is fruit and small animals. IUCN Red List status of species conservation at LC (Low Concerned – Least Concern).
