Dated 07.23.2015 morning, at the Cha Lo international border gate, the Management Board of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in collaboration with the Project Area of Phong Nha – Ke Bang and Component Technical Cooperation GIZ held recommendations to strengthen coordination measures in the management and protection of world Heritage forest Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in the area adjacent to the border of Vietnam – Laos Minh Hoa district. Conference delegates heard presentations on: The situation management, challenges and solutions for World Heritage conservation Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park in the current situation in the districts of Minh Hoa; Some basic content within the organization to perform the tasks of forest protection and development in the districts of Minh Hoa, Quang Binh Province; Essential functions, duties and powers and cooperate in the protection of forests and wildlife management at the border and in the province. These achievements, difficulties and challenges in the protection of forest and wildlife management, and make recommendations and coordinate the proposed activities and priorities; Essential functions, duties and powers, resulting in the protection of forests and wildlife management in the province. Challenges and propose solutions to coordinate protection and priority in Phong Nha – Ke Bang; About some solutions proposed interdisciplinary collaboration in forest protection and management of wildlife within the park in the districts of Minh Hoa; Capacity assessment and resources available and needed to implement forest protection and management activities; Planning effective actions to reduce illegal activities across borders; The interdisciplinary approach to control activities related to illegal wildlife.

Conclusions at the conference, Mr. Dinh Huy Tri – Deputy Director MB Gardens orientations set out some plans focus in the coming period, it is: Continue to focus on measures to coordinate with local authorities and the authorities to continue to protect the forest heritage Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park with new criteria have been recognized, ensuring the sustainable development of natural resources, historical sites and landscapes on locality.
