On December 29, 2017, the Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee issued Official Letter No. 2445/UBND – VX, permitting the trial operation of the Dai A – Hang Over – Pygmy cave expedition. This exclusive adventure is organized by the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board in collaboration with Jungle Boss Co., Ltd., offering an unparalleled journey through untouched wilderness.

The Dai A – Hang Over – Pygmy cave system belongs to the Vom cave network, situated within the Ecological Restoration Zone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

Dai A cave (also known as Tiger cave) stretches 1,616m with a depth of 46m and an entrance spanning 50m, unveiling a mysterious subterranean world.

Over cave, located 100m from Dai A cave, is an impressive 3,244m long, 104m deep, with an entrance 30m wide and 25m high, featuring an awe-inspiring cavern up to 125m wide.

Pygmy cave, 845m long and 94m deep, houses one of the world’s largest natural skylights, allowing sunlight to create mesmerizing effects within the cave.

This 20km jungle trek over 3 days and 2 nights is a physically demanding expedition, featuring river crossings, dense forest trekking, steep ascents, and overnight camping inside the caves. This adventure promises an unforgettable journey into Phong Nha’s most remote landscapes.

– 02 days 01 night tour: Hang Pygmy Exploration

+ Day 1: Phong Nha → Transfer to 20 Quyet Thang road → Jungle trek to Hang Over cave → Lunch → Explore Hang Over cave → Trek to Pygmy cave → Rappel over the Dinosaur spine → Explore Pygmy cave → Camp overnight.
