Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park recieved a Red-shanked douc langur to rescue

On 12.10.2012, the Center for Scientific Research and Rescue, National Park Phong Nha – Ke Bang has received 01 individual of Red-shanked douc langur.

On 12.10.2012, the Center for Scientific Research and Rescue, National Park Phong Nha – Ke Bang has received 01 individual of Red-shanked douc langur  to rescue and release it in to the its habitat in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang forest.

Red-shanked douc langur weighs about 4.5 kg owned by Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan. The individual is known as  the rare animal species in the Viet nam Red Book and IUCN Red Book. He awares the importance of the conservation  and  decides to hand over this individual  to the Centre for Scientific Research and Rescue. The representatives of  local government , Quang Trach Forest Ranger Department  and Center for Scientific Research and Rescue  has presented at the event.
