26-11-2013 Day morning, FPD Management Board in collaboration with the National Park Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park (NP PNKB) the Project Management Unit area of Phong Nha – Ke Bang has held a conference to announce action plan to strengthen the enforcement of forest protection, wildlife area, Phong Nha – Ke Bang (PNKB) and the province of Quang Binh period 2013 – 2015. Attending the conference were representatives leaders of departments, units and localities concerned.

Plan “Action to strengthen law enforcement protection and wildlife in the area of Phong Nha – Ke Bang in Quang Binh and” Project Management Board area PNKB contract with Animal Conservation Association wild (WCS) from May 2/2013 to perform consulting component “law enforcement in the area of forest protection Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Quang Binh: Overview of legal framework and information management vi violated the law protecting and developing forests. ” By May 4/2013, in parallel with the WCS consultant package, Project Management Board continues to contract with the Center for Conservation of Nature Vietnam Component Implementation Consultants’ survey to assess the status of enforcement construction law and action plan on strengthening law enforcement protection of forests, wildlife management areas, Phong Nha – Ke Bang, Quang Binh province. ” This plan is the result of consultation package by the Centre for Conservation of Nature Vietnam made based on the latest findings on the situation and propose what to do now to enhance the effectiveness of enforcement forest protection laws, management of wild animals and plants in the region in particular PNKB, Quang Binh province in general. The objective of the plan to improve the capacity and effectiveness of law enforcement in the area in which the park PNKB PNKB central role; and strengthen the activities of the Steering Committee for law enforcement by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development established the Steering Committee for Protection, the province’s forest development priority task for law enforcement PNKB NP.

At the conference, delegates spent time discussing, contributed important ideas to complete the Plan as enhancing the quality, capacity of the park rangers PNKB; building regulations on coordination on forest protection and law enforcement between local stakeholders
