On April 2^nd 2014, the Management Board of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park has a meeting with Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Management unit of Phong Nha – Ke Bang region project, project consulting unit – AHT Office to exchange cooperative mechanism in implementing the operational plan Phase 3 of Phong Nha – Ke Bang region project – The technical component GIZ.

The main discussion of the meeting was “Workshop on developing a roadmap and action plan for the period 2014-2015 and vision to 2020” in transboundary cooperation between Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and Hin Nam No Protected Areas that based on the MoU between Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee and Khammouane provincial government dated on November 16^th 2012.

At the meeting both sides not only agreed on the role and responsibility in the process of implementing activities but also discussed, supplemented, amended and agreed to organize a workshop in the mid of May 2014. On April 10^th advisory team will finalize plans for management board of the Park and GIZ Office to conduct the next steps.
